Emma's research on architecural rejection: Pad #2 pad

Experiments
1.) Space
Given a floor plan of space X, each contributor had 5 minutes to annotate their impressions into the floor plan. Results were then layered and read together. As the floor plan was removed, we observed that another 'space' had formed. Each person's set of annotation brings an unique perspective on the given space. The compilation of multiple person's 'subjective map' also results in a vernacular picture of a space that the reader can only see through those descriptions.

2.) Image
The same method was applied to the picture of a room. Each contributor was given a different set of coloured sticky notes and 5 minutes to physically annotate the picture. The picture was then removed, resulting on a similar outcome as the experiment described above.

Reflexion

  1. How can we use filters to process the data?
  2. What do we want to highlight by using filters?
  3. What can we generate with the gathered data?
