A patch is defined to be a text of 82 characters and 74 lines.

It is saved as a plain text (.txt) file.

Patches are collected in the XPUB git repository "S13-Words-for-the-Future-notebooks", in the folder "patches":

They can be made in various ways:

  • by drawing the patch character for character
  • by copy/pasting lines together
  • by writing loops in python
  • by using aalib to create ascii art images
  • ...
