Collective misunderstanding and psychological disturbance might be the basis of present-day society. As such, one has to be slightly outrageous to participate in it. Niek Hilkmann (1989, Rotterdam) takes up the challenge by being a bit of an art-historian, composer, teacher, conductor, designer, filmmaker and more. A true excess of a meta-modernist age!
Lately he has been responsible for a series of media archeological events at WORM, Rotterdam. During these re-evaluations were presented of redundant media such as VHS, Audio Cassette and more recently the floppy disk. He is available to tell you what these can offer mankind, both in the form of intellectual property and as entertainment. Of course, other questions, relating to 'whatever-you-like' are also more than welcome.
