• Morning: a short presentation with whole group, break, split into 3 groups for drafting the outline.

• 10:00 - 12:00 introduction

o What's a thesis, how to go about writing an outline (Steve). 10 mins + Q&A

o Past students’ theses (Marloes will show different examples). 10 mins +Q&A

o Resources and referencing (where to find texts and books, how to reference them in Harvard style; the Bootleg library &c. (Natasha) 10 mins + Q&A

o Homework for next session:

1) Hackpakt!

2) Continue to work on thesis outline and proposal

• 14:30 - 16:00 Review in small groups of 3/4 (split into the 3 final supervision groups).
