Dear Katarina and Nika,

I have a few questions concerning some of the titels:

1. Is this the whole title of Angharad’s work? PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IS THE TITLE FOR ANGHARAD'S WORK

we will never die, part 1

PICKLE STREET is on the list of artists in the exhibition - THIS IS THE BIO FOR PICKLE STREET Everyone and everything on Pickle Street has some kind of problem or another. For instance, Missing Dog is always missing and Keystone keeps falling out. Pickle Street is cobbled together by Daniel Fogarty and Mitchell Kehe.

2. In Natalia’s title, is The Netherlands part of the titel?

Titel: Songs to a Sea. – Land Reclamations, The Netherlands

3. Does the title of Daniel’s work need to be written with a small letter instead of a capital? ‘weather’ non of Daniels titles have capital letters in them

4. And is the word ‘confirmed’ part of the titel in Seecum’s title?

Soft Powers and the touch, confirmed

5. Madison’s title also mentions ‘Performance with Hannah James and Liz Allen’ is that part of the title? Or is that a kind of medium indication and do you Katarina want that then with all the work?

So it would mean that you have to add everywhere indications like: sculpture, video (duration), performance, reading, painting etc.

No we do not want to list mediums etc. and it seems very late to compile such a list, Madison included that in her title to give credit to her performers.

-The work is made out of a projector that is placed on the floor, showing 22 pictures in a rotation. This collection of images was found at the Cottam School. The slides show images of 20th century paintings within a book.  The slides taken from the book are most likely used to educate the students in art history. The work is developed from a research and interest in the representation of a painting as an image in a certain period of art history.

-The artist researched these found images. And most likely she used them as a tool in relation to her own practice.
-As a viewer you start to question where this work points to, because of its layered character. The artist seems to question the image in relation to the context of space and time of (art)history.
-Is it possible to pin an image down to a certain period?
-The images seem never to settle down, questioning the place where the image is projected, the photo was taken and at last the place of the page. So you can conclude that an images functions in different modes through the chronological order of history. The artist presents these images as flexible to different modes of presenting and different periods of time
