Piet Garden Working Beeeeeeee
10:30am start, running until the afternoon. Planning to each bring a plate/dish/paper bag of food that we can share for a communal lunch.

Hi everyone,
With the Winter feeling like it's slowly shifting on, we thought it might be a good moment to venture back into the Piet garden and prepare for good times to come!
We are organising a working day on Saturday 19th February, for everyone who would like to join, to spend some time out in our sweet garden. During the day we will be forming some new garden beds and tending to the existing sections of the garden. We hope to gather at around 10:30am and continue until the afternoon, breaking for a nice lunch altogether. It would be wonderful if everyone could bring a contribution to the lunch that we can all share together.
It would be great to bring any extra gardening tools you might have, and it's advisable to wear comfortable clothes you are happy to get dirty :) In light of the current covid situation it may be prudent to perform a self test before attending, and to try our best to respect social distancing measures, as the day will be spent outside we hope it to be a fairly covid safe gathering.
It would also be super appreciated if you could bring any cardboard boxes/sheets that you might have as we will be placing a layer of cardboard in between the existing sandy soil in the garden and the new compost matter we will be laying down on top.
If you are unable to join on Saturday we are also planning to meet on Friday (18/2) in the afternoon from 1:00pm to start some preparatory works in the garden, so please feel free to join then!
We hope it will be a cute and relaxed day outside, and look forward to sharing it together, here's hoping for okay weather! We will also be reaching out to some alumni to see if they would like to join and warmly invite any additional friends/loves to come if you would like to extend the offer.
