I performed a series of actions in Glasgow dressed in white socks and white clothes. The actions like tree climbing, taking a shortcut home and jumping in to a water puddle were executed. Put the city colour up on you
Part 1 This project consist two parts, one is seven pairs of white socks that have marks on them from different actions that I performed in Glasgow. The other part is a video documentation of me, dressed in white, waiting by a zebra cross at a flooded street, cars passes by and splash water up on me.
I performed a series of actions in Glasgow dressed in white socks and white clothes. The actions like tree climbing, taking a shortcut home and jumping in to a water puddle were executed. The works were installed in a group show with the socks hanging from the roof in fishing lines and the video screened on the wall from a projector.
The project springs out from me wanting to put my background in textiles in a performative context, but also as an investigation of the saying that Glasgow should be a dirty city. Whit this I also wanted to do a commentary on the shamefulness of stains and dirty clothes.

Why Turn textile in to performance Glasgow should be dirty
Part 3
Thin lines from the sealing hold seven pair of with socks. They all got marks on them, a sing activity. A paper on the floor contains verbs, street names and has a caption; “Titelse”. In the corner, a projector shoots moving images showing a person dressed in white waiting by a flooded zebra cross.
Tree climbing, taking shortcuts and mastering a water full street in with clothes were some of the happenings that created material of evidence from the Glasgow Streets and its roomer of dirt and filth.
This constant issue of this, the dirt and rain, the shamefulness of wet feet and stains that it left made the artist to expand her textile practice in to an empiric investigation of this subject.
48 hours of rain might let you see the prophecy
This installation consist of 6 black walls buckets filled with white sand that are place in a gallery space. Each bucket are connected to one sprinkle from a watering system for plants and its tubes lead to the tow black water containers hanging on the wall behind the buckets.
The water containers leads out the water to the sprinkles and in a slow pace the water drips down on the sand where it leaves small craters. The containers can only preserve enough water for 48 hours of dripping and after that the installation will slowly dry out.
Back in the days people use to tell fortunes in natural phenomenon. But today when are climate changes some of them will soon be extinct. The strong believe in technology as our savior forces us to invent, even new natural phenomenon.

A inner portrait of work
This will be a series of video portraits showing people preforming movements from jobs that they use to have and investigate the state of choreography a work can have.
A few people with different types of jobs that they now not work at, will be asked to try to go back in memory and perform the movements and gestures from that job. The performance will then be documented by video and put together as a installation.
This idea springs out from my interest in muscle memory and the selective choice of data that my brain chooses to put in to the remember- or the forget folder. Why is it harder for me to remember names then forget how to play the saxophone?
