STUDIO VISIT SIGNING UP PROCEDURE

At the end of each month I will first email all students with the date and time that the studio visits for the next month will be available. I will also put this in the calendar of the wiki. Then on this specific date and time all the slots for the upcoming month will be visible and you will be able to sign up, but there are some limitations to this:

1. you can only sign up for 1 SV in the first 24hrs. after this time you can sign up for at least one more. (this is to make sure that at least everyone has the change for one visit)

2. if you are on a reserve list for a SV for the current month you would automatically get a visit with this tutor the next month. However, you can only get 1, even though you are on the reserve list for more tutors. And this also counts as your first sign up in the first 24 hours.

3.If you sign up for a SV please don’t forget to save at the bottom of the page!!

4. If you, for some reason, cannot commit to your studio visit in the end, please contact your fellow students if they are able to swap or take over your studio visit. In principle the people on the reserve list should be contacted first. Only in the case that there is no one to take over your visit, you can ask me for help. If this happens on a day I am not working it is best to at least inform the (guest) tutor about the empty slot.

The wiki and the signing up system are based on trust and solidarity and the 'system' / process, only works if everyone keeps this in mind. It is for sure not perfect and it has been questioned almost every year, but never did we manage to come up with a better alternative. However, we are always open to feedback and suggestions concerning this process, and the best momentfor this is during the course council meetings.
