This workshop will introduce students to writing effective and persuasive grant proposals. Students will learn the main techniques of compelling writing, including structure, narrative, clarity, tone, and writing for an audience. A case study will be used to illustrate these techniques. The significance of budget, portfolios and collateral material will also be explored. Students will be guided through writing exercises that challenge them to write about their own work in a grant context, building from artist or exhibition statements. |
