Bernd Krauß is an artist based in Stockholm and Nuremberg as well as a range of temporary residencies. He joined the team of tutors at PZI in 2006-07.


Krauß is interested in the most varied levels and manifestations of creative activity. He often engages with a series of mutually related spatial situations and actions, involving all kinds of artistic expression including paintings, sculptures, drawings, objects, videos, photographs, performances, printed matter, etc. Working across media and presentation platforms, he draws on a wide vocabulary, from the quotidian to the unusual, instigating configurations that have the potential to gain new and unexpected functions.
