An overview of the 1960’s and 70’s cultural, political and personal experiences that led to and influenced the work of Mike Kelley.
Being a teenager during the rise of counter culure, gender confusion hippies and the civil rights movement. All of these factors leading to an empathy towards the other, woman, queerness, and the abject.
